Joining the Digital Products Portfolio

The Digital Consumer Engagement Products portfolio plays a critical role in delivering PMI's Smoke-Free Future.

We are enabling digital services to our consumers and retailers by building platforms to communicate our vision to broader society.

Together with talent from multiple business and technology functions across our footprint, we are delivering a premium experience for our consumers.

When you join this team, you will work in a dynamic, diverse, and warm environment.

You will be primarily focusing on defining your Digital Product vision, regularly engaging with your customers to gather feedback and understand their needs in order to maximize value.

You will be part of all stages of Digital Product incremental value delivery.

Purpose of this role


As a Product Owner, you will maximize the value and the usability of the Digital Product created by cross-functional team.

You represent the stakeholders to the product and engineering team.

You shape the vision of the product by collaborating with rest of the leads.


You will be managing and making visible the product backlog, or the prioritized list of requirements for future product development.


You will be leading the product vision for the Stitching product, that is part of the Consumer Data Platform (CDP) product group.

To enable consumer engagement and analytics communities, the product group's mission is to democratize high quality data for fast, scalable, cost effective:

  • Personalization of consumer engagement at scale
  • Delivery of insights for decision making


You are available to the development team to answer any questions team members have regarding the customer's needs and the customer's views of how the team is implementing a product feature.

Role profile

  • Effective at Product Backlog management.
  • Create, manage, and clearly communicate the Digital Product backlog items.
  • Prioritize the backlog to maximize value.
  • Ensure the backlog is transparent visible and understood.
  • Align the success metrics and KPIs of your Product to the Digital Product group and Digital Portfolio level.
  • Develop and clearly communicate a Product goal.
  • Ensure Sprint Goals are set in accordance with the Product Goal and priorities; and that sprint increments that bring value.
  • Help in identification and resolution of dependencies.
  • Raise and manage risks and opportunities.
  • Develop Digital Product roadmap in accordance with Digital Product group and portfolio strategy.
  • Participate in the establishment and evolution of the team.
  • Is a decision maker and has the authority to say "yes" & "no".
Your day-to-day

  • Create the product vision and roadmap which accomplishes the goal of the vision.
  • Set out the objectives, identify the value and measure the output.
  • Gather, manage, and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Ensure user stories are "ready" for development to start work.
  • Ensure each story has the correct acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure close collaboration with the development team.
  • Work closely with engineering, security, and quality assurance to ensure the right customer problem is solved. This can involve analysis with the team to best focus their efforts.
  • Work with a crossfunctional team in planning a product release.
  • Develop personas in conjunction with a team including user experience experts.
  • Define customer needs and the associated features to meet those needs.
  • Advocate on behalf of the partners to the development team.
  • Prioritizes defect or bug resol
