Pay Basis - Yearly

Type - Permanent, Full Time

Hours - 37 hours per week


The role requires working collaboratively with internal and external partners through multi-agency flood meetings and supporting our other functions as LLFA as required.

The role will also require answering enquiries from customers, stakeholders and developers and providing general advice internally and externally.

This post will suit someone with knowledge and experience of planning, flood risk management/hydrology, engineering or landscape/ecology. You will need to be able to work independently and manage your own workload. You must have confidence in dealing with the public, and be capable of communicating complex technical matters clearly.

You must be computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Office, with experience of planning, drainage and other relevant software desirable.

There is a requirement to represent the LLFA at some meetings or community engagement events that will occur out of normal office hours.


You must have a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle as this is an essential user post.
