Role Purpose:


To perform all purchase ledger activities, record all bank transactions within the company's ledgers and assist with completion of period end reconciliations.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Obtain the relevant level of signoff of all invoices.
  • Record all invoices within the purchase ledger and all invoice related queries.
  • Ensure all invoices are settled within the relevant payment terms.
  • Create new supplier accounts within the purchase ledger.
  • First point of contact with all suppliers.
  • Ongoing improvement of purchase ledgers systems.
  • Document purchase ledger procedures.
  • All other expense processing including via Concor.
  • Recording all bank transactions within the ledger.
  • Completion of all bank reconciliations.
  • Preparing all payments and obtaining the relevant signoff.
  • First point of contact for all banking enquires.
  • Document banking procedures.
  • Continually look to improve processes and assist with any improvements made within the team.
  • Providing ad hoc assistance when required.
  • Develop good relationships with senior members of staff.
  • Develop good relationship with suppliers.
  • Report any suspicion of financial crime to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer immediately.
  • Manage any potential conflicts of interest to avoid disrepute to the company's integrity. Advise Compliance of any complaints immediately.

Experience:


  • Experience in a similar role.

  • Reconciliations.
  • AP systems experience.
