Description

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Contracts Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent role based in our Westhill office.

We are looking to recruit someone with a law degree who has experience gained within an in-house legal team and/or commercial law firm (or similar).

As a key member of the Contracts and Compliance team, you will assist with the legal review and negotiation of commercial contracts and other legal documentation, and provide general legal and compliance advice to our business.

You will also be involved in a variety of commercial/contractual/legal matters supporting Proserv Group in its global operations.

What we're looking for

Proven track record of working within a legal or commercial contracts and compliance team (either as Inhouse Legal Counsel, Contracts Advisor, Paralegal, Legal Executive, Legal Assistant or similar).
Experience of working with international contracts and understanding of general contracting principles.
Working knowledge of UK oil and gas industry contractual standards (example: LOGIC model contracts).
Excellent communicator in English both, written and verbal.
Able to demonstrate a solutiondriven approach to resolving problems in a collaborative and articulate manner.
Demonstrate flexibility, selfmotivation, and adept at both working in teams and independently.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills including meeting tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft packages
Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
