Production Operator, Edinburgh, £11.14 per hour

  • Mon-Thurs Day shift, 6am4pm alternate 7am5pm
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operator to work at our client's site in Granton, Edinburgh.


What to expect as a Production Operator:

  • Processing woven wirecloth rolls to various products panels, strips and discs.
  • Manual cutting of wirecloth with scissors and electric shears.
  • Operating stretching and takeup equipment.
  • Operations of mechanical guillotines
  • Operation of Cleaning Process Equipment for rolls and parts.
  • Operation of Laser Machine to process sheets of wirecloth.
The job requires good general fitness with and offers varied work through rotation to different processes.


What we're looking for:


  • A solid work history
  • Previous experience or transferable skills within a manufacturing / production environment and quality control
  • Experience of working within a target driven environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail
