A Year 3 teacher is a primary school teacher who teaches children in Year 3, which is typically the third year of primary education in the UK for children aged 7 to 8 years old.

Year 3 is part of Key Stage 2, which covers children from 7 to 11 years old.


Year 3 teachers are also responsible for assessing and tracking student progress, communicating with parents, and planning and leading extracurricular activities.

They may work with parents and other professionals to identify and support children who mayhave additional learning needs or require extra support.
