Overview


2Fawcett are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant, to join an industry leader located in Sheffield on a permanent, full time basis.

As the accounts assistant, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager, providing accounts and administrative support.


The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:

  • Inputting invoice data for sales and purchase invoices
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Checking purchasing invoices against relevant orders
  • Ensuring all timesheets are collected on time for payment
  • Calculating and processing payroll
  • Updating new employees on Sage payroll
  • Assisting with financial audits and controls
  • Completing general office duties and document control
  • Updating suppliers and customers on Sage Accounts
  • Checking purchasing invoices against relevant orders

Requirements of the Accounts Assistant:


  • Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Experience in using SAGE
  • Experience of administering payroll

Job Types:

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
