MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the property maintenance / handyman / woman you will be responsible for the completion of a range of repair and maintenance tasks including basic joinery; electrical; plumbing; painting; flooring; outdoor landscaping and general repair works, for all homes within Adecyn Homes.

Responsibility_

To support and maintain all homes withing Adecyn Homes to a high standard and

ensure that all homes comply with all up-to-date regulations and legalizations.

To always maintain confidentiality.
Complete general external and internal maintenance work as directed
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Document works daily completed, stock used, stock remaining, work remaining and

stock that it needed.

To perform all work identified by homes manager, staff, or others, as per the weekly

maintenance log in a timely manner.

Adjust and minor repairs to heating, plumbing and electrical systems.
Painting and decorating as required.
Unblock sinks, traps and waste pipes and adjustment and repair taps.
Carry out glazing works including temporary boarding up of broken windows
Monitor stock levels of consumable items such as fuel, grit, light bulbs/tubes and arrange to replenish supplies
Clean light fittings and test lighting systems weekly, replacing where necessary minor

parts such as tubes, bulbs, fuses starters and diffusers, in accordance with safe
working practices

Ensure that the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding

areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards

Arrange to clear blockages, remove foreign matter from sinks, toilets, drains, etc., and

clean up spillages as required. Ensure that gullies, drains, etc., are kept free from
debris and that the grounds are litter free.

Ensure clear and safe pedestrian access to the grounds particularly in adverse

weather conditions (e.g., clearing snow, gritting, etc.).

Dispose refuse in a safe, hygienic manner ensuring that it is available for collection as

required.

Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, using mowers and hand and power trimmers.
Keep store and workshop tidy and tools and safety equipment in good order
Attend to personnel visiting the site including contractors.
Assist in planning for the tasks and reviewing current stock and assist in procurement

for new stock items required to complete new tasks.
