Summary:


JOB PURPOSE:


To provide a strong administrative support service to the whole of the Company, by addressing any issues within primarily the Supply Chain team and providing relevant information to meet external demands as required.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, the person will respond professionally to general enquiries in a timely and effective manner.

As a representative of Sabre Rail, you will provide a first-class service in order to ensure the smooth operation of the Planning Department.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Managing customer enquiries
  • General office administrative duties, answering office telephones, dealing with enquiries and redirecting where necessary
  • Resolving any queries from customers thoroughly and efficiently
  • Raising and amending sales orders as required by the Sales Manager
  • Order book management
  • Data inputting
  • To undertake other duties as reasonably requested

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Excellent organisational and time management skills required to meet deadlines
  • Great team player, being able to work effectively within a small team, where mutual support is vital to the achievement of the Company Vision and Mission Statement
  • Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Computer literate
  • Good attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of accurate work
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Manufacturing Resource Planning would be advantageous but specific training will be provided
