Role:
Sales Ledger Clerk - 6m FTCLocation: South Manchester**
Pay: £24,000-£26,000 DOE


Due to growth and reorganisation in the team, we are looking to place a Sales Ledger Clerk into the Accounts Receivable team for a group of companies based in South Manchester.

This role will work alongside credit controllers and credit risk team to ensureaccurate maintenance of the sale ledger within a team of 12.


Responsibilities include:


  • Matching and checking the selfbilling process
  • Billing and raising invoices
  • Processing returns and credit notes for customers
  • Cash allocations
  • Working to strict deadlines
  • Liaising with all relevant departments internally to ensure a smooth sales ledger process
  • Dealing withqueries internally and externally
  • Assisting with reports and cash flow
  • Other sales related ad hoc duties

Experience/skills required:


  • Previous experience in a Sales Ledger role covering similar experience
  • Experience using multiple systems and Excel
  • Comfortable communicating with all levels in the business
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a close knit, wider team
  • Great attention to detail and able to multitask
