A well-established marketing agency based in Edgbaston with easy access via road and public transport is looking for an Account Manager to join its team.

You will be required to create long-term, trusted relationships with clients and help them achievetheir ambitious marketing goals.

Your role will be to oversee and retain a portfolio of assigned accounts, develop new business from these accounts and ensure your accounts remain profitable.

As an Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients through the entire customer journey, with the aim of building and retaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships?
  • Taking responsibility for the client relationship and serving as the lead point of contact both internally, with the delivery teams and externally with the client
  • Developing a trusted business partner relationship with key clients and customer stakeholders through a solid understanding of their industry, trends, and unique business challenges
  • Expanding on new business with existing clients and identifying areas of opportunities for marketing campaigns from regular meetings with your clients
  • Working with the strategic team to develop comprehensive client strategies and quarterly campaign plans?
  • Producing and maintaining a clear and detailed marketing plan and liaise with the delivery team to ensure clarity and deadlines are met
  • Maintaining a regular understanding of the team's workload and manage client's expectations when priorities change
  • Keeping an accurate timesheet of your activities and manage the client's budget
  • Keeping constant and clear communication with the delivery team and clients with any upandcoming unplanned activity
  • Preparing and delivering monthly performance reports for clients
  • Taking ownership over client issues, escalations, or complaints?
  • Matching marketing output to client budget to ensure profitability and studio
  • Upholding the company's high standards within the agency, with clients and it's publicfacing image.

We are looking for an Account Manager who has the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in a commercial marketing environment; a marketing related degree would be an advantage, but is not essential.
  • Previous experience in delivering as an Account Manager in an agency.
  • Management of integrated campaigns; creative, branding, content, digital, PR and social.
  • Handson delivery experience and stakeholder management
  • Exemplary communication and organisational skills; both written and verbally.
  • A proactive attitude for a busy working environment and be ready to get 'stuck in'.
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams


Flexible working will be required from a mixture of locations; home, office, clients' offices depending on the customer expectations and needs.
