Due to continuous growth we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Logistics Operative (Escort Driver) at Hinkley Point C.


As a Logistics Operative, you will play a key role in providing support to MEH Alliance logistics operations by escorting deliveries and site visitors.

You will ensure that vehicles are parked correctly, refuelled and keys are stored securely and records are kept for audit purposes.

This will be a very busy role with conflicting priorities, and we are looking for someone who wants to join us who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work with blue and white collar workforce.

You will be part of a great team, who are supportive and friendly.

  • Hourly rate from £13.10 to £14.76 (depending on experience)

What we need from you:


  • CITB Operative H&S test (must be completed before start date)
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to understand Safe Systems of Work
  • Commitment to safety
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail, timekeeping, and ability to prioritise time effectively
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Driving licence cat B

Site Specific Information

  • You must be able to provide a 3year work/ unemployment/ education history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
  • You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
  • The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
