We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Social Enterprise Programme Officer to join Coventry University on a 6-month contract.

This role will join the team seeking out to develop the entrepreneurial skills of students and staff, helping them to grow their business start-ups and social enterprise activities.


As Social Enterprise Programme Officer, a key responsibility of the role will be leading the operational delivery and administration of the ongoing development programmes, including delivering workshops that provide skillsets and teach the basic foundations of entrepreneurship and recruiting people onto the courses from the University campuses.


As a part of this, you will manage the marketing support for the programmes, including communicating through social media, and representing the team at external events.

You will also manage events with booking rooms and guest speakers.

The ideal Social Enterprise Programme Officer will:

  • Have experience of working with students and graduates
  • Experience of Project/Programme related work
  • Have experience in marketing, events and entrepreneurship, with the ability to design in Canva
  • Provide basic business advice
  • Have intermediate experience in Microsoft Office, including Powerpoint, Excel, and Word
  • Be a strong communicator, with the ability to advise, support, and inspire
