The role
As an Environmental Projects Lead, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

This is a newly created position within Babcock Mission Systems and will play a key role in shaping and delivering the Environmental Sustainability plan for the organisation.


Day to day, you'll:

  • Develop and deliver the overall Environmental Strategy
  • Include development and delivery of the decarbonisation strategy
  • Develop, manage, and maintain the Environmental Management System
  • Support the setting and monitoring of environmental KPIs and targets
  • Develop and deliver the environmental improvement programmes

Essential experience of the Environmental Projects Lead,

  • Someone who has strong data analysis and project management skills
This role provides hybrid working with one day per week in the office however, this can be flexible. The role will also include periodic travel.


Qualifications for the Environmental Projects Lead,

  • Degree in Environmental / Energy Management or Building Services
  • Member of IEMA, Energy Institute or CEnv (or equivalent professional body)
