Key Purpose of the Job

Mon-Fri & rotation (occasional Saturday)

To operate and monitor all systems, including CCTV and intruder within the Grapevine in a professional and efficient manner.

To ensure integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained by compliance with quality standards and legislation, whilst preserving the rights of the individual.

Key Job Responsibilities


To operate and monitor all systems within the Grapevine in an efficient manner ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation and the codes of practice.


  • To constantly monitor live streaming CCTV, including Body worn cameras, vehicle tracking and asset tracking at dedicated sites.
  • To handle alarm activations and tasks relating to Grapevine.
  • Remotely perform lock and unlock duties on designated sites and areas within.
  • Assist in maintaining the British Standard Code of Practices relevant to Remotely Operated CCTV Systems
  • To liaise with the Post Office, Police, other agencies and members of staff to ensure the appropriate use of the system. To include all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence.
  • To record all events and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate format. To provide an efficient and courteous telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries.
  • To report equipment failure to the ARC Manager, Supply Chains and Post Office Limited
  • Any other reasonable requests from the Control Room Managers.
  • The post holder will ensure the health, safety and welfare of themselves and their team in accordance with the Kings Policy
  • The post holder will understand the regulatory, fair trading and competition rules relating to their work sufficiently to be able to comply with them, relying on their own knowledge or on their ability to recognise that they will need specialist support
  • To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
  • Implement and act in accordance with the organisations information security policies
  • Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
  • Implement particular security processes or activities, as requested by management
  • Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the organisation

Requirements:


  • Experience in a similar environment
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Knowledge of operation of the CCTV system.
  • Knowledge of Legal and Human Rights legislation.
  • SIA Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills
  • Customer connected
  • Team player
  • Able to prioritise
  • Ability to manage workloads and work under pressure
  • Pc literate
  • Ability to work within a continually changing environment

Salary:
£23,000.00 per year
