We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time
HR Advisor to join the team to cover maternity leave.

Are you looking for an
HR Advisor role with a difference, one that provides an abundance of variety and continual learning & development? This is an exciting opportunity, for a CIPD qualified
HR Advisor to work with us from our Basingstoke office for 30 hours per week, across 4 or 5 days.

As an
HR Advisor, your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Advising clients on a full range of HR topics including recruitment, engagement, performance management, disciplinary, grievance, investigations, redundancies, settlement agreements, and post termination discussions
  • Providing advice on regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Supporting our HR Consultants with project work


You will have a wealth of HR generalist experience and excellent interpersonal skills which you will use to advise our clients on the correct course of action to take.

You will be managing a busy workload, supporting numerous clients and prioritising tasks as new work arises so excellent time management and the ability to manage your own workload are essential.


  • You will have at least CIPD level 5 qualification
  • Experienced HR generalist with strong experience on disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Experience of working as an HR Advisor supporting several different functions or line managers.
  • Robust understanding of current employment legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with our clients
  • Experience in the administration of different sized payrolls
  • Knowledge of HR systems (Breathe HR, People HR)
  • A team player who recognises the importance of working together
  • Accurate with a good eye for detail
  • Effective communication skills

£25,600.00-£28,000.00 per year
