Description
We are seeking an experienced Energy Manager on a permanent basis for my high profile client. This is an ASAP start and pays a competitive salary.

They require someone to work closely with a Project Manager in delivering projects in order to manage thereduction in energy, carbon, and water usage across 3 large sites in line with the sustainability strategy.

This is with a view to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2035.
You will develop and implement energy / waterand carbon reduction strategies, policies, and action plans. You will secure capital and manage budgets, minimise financial expenditure, and oversee funding accounts. You will work closely with colleagues and externalagencies to gather and exchange information and provide feasibility studies. You will work with others and provide expert advice to drive behavioural change regarding usage.

Managing the Energy Officer is another responsibility along with ensuring that allstaff are adequately qualified and trained so that the required skills and competency levels are in place.

There are additional duties and requirements that can be provided should there be an interest in this opportunity.

An essential requirement is knowledge and experience of creating and implementing energy/water and carbon reduction strategies, policies, and action plans.

Knowledge of M&E building systems inc HVAC, BMS, electrical distribution, lighting, controls, renewablesgeneration, metering, and the built environment is sought after, as is experience of collating, analysing, synthesising complex data and compiling reports.

You would need to provide evidence of managing budgets, managing project teams, capital programmes ofworks, and also effective partnership working with and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
