£26,556 per annum
Role Purpose:
The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support tasks, including screening, answering phones, receiving visitors, preparing meeting and training rooms and sorting and distributing mails.
Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities:
- To meet and greet Sigma Connected clients, guests, and contractors.
- To inform Sigma Connected hosts of their visitor's arrival.
- Visitor and contractor management including signing in, visitor pass allocation and safety briefings.
- To remain the point of contact for onsite visitors/contractors for the duration of their visit.
- The management of the boardroom, meeting rooms including bookings, setups, and access.
- Facilitating refreshments, including lunches for the Executive Team, SLT and visitors.
- Managing the kitchenette stock (tea, coffee etc.)
- Post management, including incoming and outgoing mail.
- The creation and provision of new ID badges for Sigma Connected employees.
- Providing support for the Onboarding Team with new employees.
- Providing support to the Executive PA, as and when required.
- Provide a support service to guests and visitors such as, Wi-Fi access, WC access, travel information.
- Supporting the Executive PA with TravelPerk Profile set up.
- Being a point of contact with the building owner
- Supporting the Sigma Connected Head of Health, Safety & Facilities with:
- Weekly and monthly fire safety checks
- Monthly first aid box checks
- Photocopier paper, ink, and waste cartridge replenishment
- Employee locker management
- You will be required to undertake training to become a First Aider and a Fire Marshal
- You will be required to undertake training to be a risk assessor, to support with the creation of employee risk assessments.
- Other reasonable and proportionate tasks.
Receptionist Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks without guidance.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Confidence to suggest new initiatives and best practice to enhance the visitor experience.
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must be deadline driven
