A leading MSP is looking for a Senior Service Desk Engineer to join their friendly team. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a fast paced, vibrant environment.
They are looking for a proactive individual who is able to deal with technical issues in apressurised and time sensitive environment while maintaining a high quality of customer service.
Your technical responsibilities will include but not be limited to:- Working on 2nd/3rd level IT Issues until resolved
- Liaising with customers and providing information to aid them in their day to day IT related activities
- Supporting and troubleshooting end user requests and incidents ensuring tickets are escalated quickly and efficiently to minimise client service impact.
- Providing an escalation point to the Level 1 engineers
- Troubleshooting and supporting, Windows, Hyper V, Microsoft Exchange, Firewalls
- Supporting a contracted range of hardware and software products
- Reporting directly into the assigned team leaders
- Experience with Azure/365, Microsoft desktop/server operating systems
- A solid understanding of network technologies
- Experience with virtualisation; Hyper-V, VMWare or Citrix
- Knowledge of Dell SonicWALL security appliances would be beneficial
