About the Company
A leading MSP is looking for a Senior Service Desk Engineer to join their friendly team. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a fast paced, vibrant environment.

They are looking for a proactive individual who is able to deal with technical issues in apressurised and time sensitive environment while maintaining a high quality of customer service.

Your technical responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working on 2nd/3rd level IT Issues until resolved
  • Liaising with customers and providing information to aid them in their day to day IT related activities
  • Supporting and troubleshooting end user requests and incidents ensuring tickets are escalated quickly and efficiently to minimise client service impact.
  • Providing an escalation point to the Level 1 engineers
  • Troubleshooting and supporting, Windows, Hyper V, Microsoft Exchange, Firewalls
  • Supporting a contracted range of hardware and software products
  • Reporting directly into the assigned team leaders
Essential Skills and personal qualities

  • Experience with Azure/365, Microsoft desktop/server operating systems
  • A solid understanding of network technologies
  • Experience with virtualisation; Hyper-V, VMWare or Citrix
  • Knowledge of Dell SonicWALL security appliances would be beneficial
