About the Department
SSE Enterprise Utilities is the Distributed Energy and Private Networks business of SSE plc.

We finance, own, operate and maintain energy infrastructure for commercial, industrial and residential customers - providing them with a market leading project development service and certainty of operational performance and asset management.

What is the Role?

We are looking to recruit an Administrator into the Utility solutions Gas Delivery team, based from our office in Poole.

As a team we assist in all back-office work for laying Gas pipe on new housing developments.

We have a team of operational staff that we assist on a daily basis to make sure they have all the paperwork they need and that its recorded properly and to OFGEM standards once completed.

As part of this team, you will be responsible for all areas of administration/data entry, programming of works.

Strong organisational skills and a good level of computer literacy, in particular Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) are essential for completing daily work, which includes data entry of Job packs on multiple spreadsheets and programmes, uploading drawings of pipe onto a national database, chasing payment from developers, speaking with different departments to ensure we have the correct information needed to carry out our work.

When working in any utilities, it is paramount you have Strong attention to detail, this will enable you to maintain the high degree of accuracy required to meet our high expectations with compliance for data capture and recording.

You will regularly update this information onto our internal systems (training will be provided).

You will be proactive and self-motivated with a track record of producing high quality work and have the ability to talk to anyone with ease and confidence.
