Pulse, part of Acteon Group, are a market leader in subsea structural monitoring providing highly sophisticated monitoring systems and services to both oil & gas, and renewables clients around the globe since 1998.

Due to our ambitious growth plans we are looking to strengthen our team in several roles globally.

This position will build and maintain key collaborative relationships with manufacturing and Supply Chain partners.

Clear interaction with Acteon Group in order to ensure that the full compliance in export and import of the goods is followed.

Responsible to find the best import/export scenarios considering the new Brexit situation.

This is a key role within Pulse driving process driven efficiency and discipline across the company as we grow and mature as a partner to operators in the renewables and other offshore energy markets.


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict record keeping of all specialised import/ export documentation sets in line with evolving statutory guidelines. Also ensuring adherence and audit accuracy with associated governance controls
  • Manage the daytoday import / export of goods requirements by processing shipments, collating relevant paperwork and liaising with Freight Forwarders
  • Manage the daytoday import / export requirements of controlled data transfers, recording the transfers and processing the relevant paperwork
  • Supporting the Trade Compliance Officers with various export programmes to understand their export licensing and custom requirements
  • Working with stores in Supply Chain to ensure all deliverables are picked and packed appropriately to support the shipping, customs and licencing constraints
  • Working with commercial and supply chain to obtain and register product classification of all incoming goods (e.g, commodity codes, UKML or Dual Use Codes etc.)
  • Supporting Corporate/Internal/External Audits and closure actions where appropriate
  • Work closely with the project delivery team and the service team to manage and coordinate activities in the following areas: Packing, Shipping, Import and Export compliance, Onsite & 3rd Party Warehousing, Raw Material Receipts & Scheduling, Inventory Reconciliation & Management
  • Arrange shipping documents and coordinate all shipments for the organisation and respond to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply chain, Logistics, or a related field
  • Expert knowledge to handle Imports in UK and exports to Europe after Brexit
  • Expert understanding of incoterms and import / export procedures and handling with custom agents and goods / shipments clearance
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills, prioritise and work under pressure
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Experience of project startups or automated warehousing
