Dementia Lead - up to 30k per annum

Location:
Wellington

Position:
Dementia Lead

40 hours per week

Monday - Friday

Job overview:


  • As a Dementia Lead you will be working closely with the Home and Deputy manager to communicate on a daily basis with the Home Manager on events that have occurred within the memory care floor.
  • To support the Home Manager to maintain full occupancy of memory care within fee structure and residents' suitability.
  • To report and record all complaints, accidents, happenings or untoward incidents to the Home Manager as Company Policy and Procedure.
  • To involve the Registered nurses with any clinical concern that residents on the memory care community may have to ensure there is a whole home approach to solutions and also inform the Home Manager.
  • To ensure all residents have an equal opportunity to enjoy a friendly homely atmosphere within the establishment.
  • To provide a planned programme of care, recorded and reviewed at regular intervals for each individual resident according to Company Policy and Procedure, CQC Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and NMC standards.

Requirements:


  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social care
  • Experience in Residential Care homes
  • Experience in Working in Dementia care
