Description
Kenny Recruit are working with an admirable charity in their search for an Assistant Accountant, on a temporary basis. They are a anti-abuse charity and work with victims and survivors of interpersonal abuse and violence.
Their Finance Manager needs assistance with collecting over £1 million in grants and then helping prepare the accounts for audit.
They need someone who can complete balance sheet reconciliations and has a good understanding of income recognition, so thateverything is in order ahead of the the audit in June.
There will also be a fair amount of queries that will need to be followed up both internally and externally, so good communication skills are essentialPay:
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum + benefits
Location:
Remote working
Working hours:9.00am - 5.00pm (flexi hours offered)
Responsibilities:
- Preparing invoices for customers
- Processing purchases and expenditure invoices
- Credit control
- Cash management and bank reconciliations
- Keeping all financial data and staff personal data confidential in line with the data protection regulations
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist in preparation of accounts for audit
- Managing monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets
- Providing administrative support to the team
