An exciting opportunity for a Project Officer has arisen to support CIMSPA's strategy and growth


The role of Project Officer will sit within CIMSPA's Strategy and Digital Transformation team, who are responsible for the delivery of projects and initiatives working towards CIMSPA's strategy and transformation of its digital space.

You will be joining this friendly, outgoing and high-performing team, playing a valuable and essential role within CIMSPA.

The project officer is responsible for project implementation and coordination across the project management and delivery function. The Project Officer will report to the Delivery Manager and support the Program Manager to deliver project outcomes.


This role offers flexible hybrid working, enabling our colleagues to divide their time between our head office in Loughborough and working from home.

Specific details/flexible working options can be discussed as part of the interview process. We recognise the many benefits that an effective hybrid working culture brings to both CIMSPA and our colleagues.

Key tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and strengthen partnerships with project teams.
  • Responsible for the daytoday operations of small to large projects.
  • Support multiple project teams by coordinating and facilitating the project life cycle.
  • Identify project risks and collaborate with peers to manage risks.
  • Ensure a high quality of work is maintained and projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support with postproject reviews, lessons learned and reporting on projects undertaken on time and to a high standard.
  • Help develop methods of project initiation, execution and delivery.
  • Act as a guardian of good governance.
  • Support the Programme manager and Delivery Manager with key stakeholders working in the project team.
  • Hold excellent organisation and time management skills, with an understanding of good governance.
