An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Officer who is highly driven, enthusiastic and motivated, to become part of the expanding Recruitment department at KCH.
Reporting to the Recruitment Team Leader of your allocated area, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting adverts, interview set up and completion of pre-employment checks and contracts for both new and internal staff using the TRAC system.
You will be organised and methodical in your approach and be able to react to changing demands and ensure adherence to team processes, trust policies and best practice compliance by providing comprehensive support of day-to-day recruitment activities.
You will also have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and be passionate about providing a high quality customer service to your patients and colleagues.
We offer hybrid working as part of our flexible working policy, although there is an expectation for new staff to work mainly in the office for the initial induction period of the contract.
The post holder will also have up to date knowledge of relevant HR Systems such as ESR, TRAC and NHS Jobs, however training will be provided.
You must be a team player and an excellent communicator, confident when dealing with internal and external stakeholders whilst maintaining a high level of customer service.
These roles support the Recruitment Team Leader, Recruitment Operations Managers and Recruitment Partners in reducing vacancy rates and contributes to the development and growth of the service as a whole.

Responsible for the implementation and administration of the Trust's recruitment campaigns as discreet, well organised projects.This includes the following tasks:
- Organising interview panels
- Longlisting or arranging shortlisting with hiring managers
- Collecting the Interview Packs form the hiring managers and ensuring that all interview notes and assessment materials are returned to Recruitment and stored appropriately.
- Working closely with the Recruitment Assistants and external recruitment agencies (where appropriate) to ensure all preemployment checks are completed according to the NHS Employment Check Standards.
- Managing the deployment of the cohorts including booking accommodation and arranging attendance on induction courses
The nature of the job requires the post holder to be dealing with confidential and sensitive information related to patients and staff.
