Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our team.

As a Packer, you will be responsible for preparing items for shipment by packing, labelling, and organising them in our warehouse.

Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently is really important to the role.

Duties:

Pick and pack items to go out to customers. This will involve packing items into outer cartons and putting larger orders on to pallets.
Palletise orders for our fulfilment warehouse daily.
Operate counterbalance forklift and manual pallet trucks to load and unload couriers.
Handle products with care to prevent damage and ensure all packaged products are packed neatly and efficiently.
Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Assist with replenishment of shelves for production operatives

Skills:

Experience in picking and packing operations
Counterbalance Forklift license is required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational skills for efficient order fulfilment
Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
Used to using scanners and computers for dispatch process is beneficial

Hours
Monday -Thursday 8am-5pm

Friday - 8am-1pm (over time occasionally required)

Salary:
£12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
