Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Research, investigate, and write news stories on a variety of topics
  • Conduct interviews with sources to gather information
  • Edit and proofread articles for accuracy and clarity
  • Stay uptodate with current events and news trends
  • Collaborate with editors and other journalists to brainstorm story ideas
  • Utilise social media platforms to share news stories and engage with the audience
  • Cover live events and breaking news as needed

Skills:


  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere for video editing
  • Strong social media management skills
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex information into easytounderstand content
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus
  • Knowledge of journalistic ethics and standards
This is an office based role, so must be able to work from Bradford, West Yorkshire


Pay:
£19,322.00-£21,118.00 per year
