Implement the health and safety policies across multiple sites

Be the point of contact for health and safety concerns and questions


Client Details

Description
Senior Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:

  • Advising of H&S, safe methods of working, prevention of hazards to health and suitability of plant, protective equipment and control measures
  • Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Support regional H&S Managers with RIDDOR investigations and ensure all F2508 reports are approved by the group
  • Ensure all sites have technical risk assessments i.e. PUWER/LOLER/COSHH
  • Support GMs in the development of objective and targets and monitor success
  • All documentation is provided to meet NHS and company reporting requirements
  • Ensure each site has a maintained communication cell for safety management and performance
  • Report to the company board
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the Company Safety Policy by carrying out inspections in association with site management and providing written reports of such inspections, including Complete internal Health and Safety Audits, ISO 45001 internal auditsand support annual accreditation
  • Each site has appropriate driver trainers and assessors

Profile

Senior Health and Safety Manager requires experience in:

  • NEBOSH diploma in occupational health and safety
  • essential
  • Experience in delivering H&S to multiple sites
  • Previous customer and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in working with people from entry level to directorship
  • Strong numerical experience to conduct trend analysis support by excel
  • Audit experience would be beneficial
  • Full driving licence

Job Offer
Senior Health and Safety Manager will be predominantly based in Staffordshire but incorporate travel to other sites

  • Salary up to £55,000
