What you'll be doing

You'll join our highly experienced, award-winning and yet friendly and collaborative Marine claims team as Claims Adjuster building on your existing expertise within Cargo claims particularly, but with a cross-class focus encompassing Liability, Hull & War.

You may have a background within an Insurer, MGA or Broker environment.

Providing effective adjustment of claims and assisting the Senior Adjuster reporting on loss ratios to the Claims Management team and Underwriters.

A day in the life

In the Claims Adjuster role, you'll liaise with coverholders on claims issues when appropriate, whilst effectively liaising with brokers and third parties in the adjustment of claims in line with company strategy and regulatory and legal compliance.


Your relationship building skills will come into play when responding to customer requirements, acquiring feedback from customers and brokers/intermediaries as well as effectively negotiating with both internal and external parties regarding a claim.
