Overview of the role

  • Interested in joining a leading multimillionpound organisation to work as part of a national premises support team?Do you wish to take on a role with excellent opportunities for long term career progression?Our Front of House Office Coordinators are focused on daily operations in our offices with an emphasis on ensuring staff and visitors enjoy a great experience when attending our premises. Office Coordinators are the 'go to' for local help and support, they aspire to setting high standards in representing Mott MacDonald.
Due to the nature of this role, it is 100% office based.- Reporting directly to the Office Manager your activities will include but not limited to
To act as a first contact for all visitors, ensuring they are greeted and directed accordingly.

  • To ensure visitors to the office receive the appropriate site induction regarding welfare facilities, health and safety practices and fire exits.
  • Taking personal responsibility for the upkeep and general presentation of the front desk and reception area ensuring high standards.
  • Managing signing in and out of guests and visitors issuing temporary passes.
  • Preparing daily schedule of catering requirements for the housekeeper.
  • Using desk booking system to book desks for visiting staff.
  • Handling local office switchboard calls through MS Teams.
  • Overseeing general office sundries for post, print, kitchen supplies etc
  • Act as appointed Emergency Warden and First aider.
    Desirable
  • Previous experience in a Front of House role, be this in a corporate environment, retail or hospitality.
  • Impeccable presentation and strong communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with individuals at all organizational levels.
