Established in 2013, we have quickly gone from strength to strength and continue to grow. Due to massive growth over the last few years our directors and senior management team along with some of our core head office functions are moving to our newly refurbished premises in Ashton area of Preston.

About the Role -:

We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to provide a service to our head office functions. Your role will be to provide catering for breakfast and lunch to personnel on site. You will also provide refreshments and lunch for general and board meetings.

During busy periods you will need to be well organised and able to work at pace.

Always create a positive and professional image to customers and visitors.

Ensure all food is made and prepared to a high standard


Location:
Preston (Larches)

Salary:
£10.50ph


Hours of Work: 7:30am - 2:00pm


Responsibilities - but not limited to:

  • Stock merchandising and replenishments of food and drink products and catering supplies for refreshments, breakfast, and lunch.
  • Food preparation/servicing of food and beverages to staff onsite.
  • Ensure all departmental standards including customer service, health & safety and food hygiene are maintained.
  • General cleaning, housekeeping, and washing pots using facilities on site.
  • Comply with all departmental and company policies regarding food safety, health and safety, COSHH, Safe Systems of Work, fire and ammonia evacuation procedures.
  • Undertaking company training regarding food safety.
  • Working with manager to produce menu (Breakfast and lunch)

Knowledge, experience, and qualifications required:


  • Excellent customer service skills
  • To be enthusiastic, committed, and selfmotivated.
  • Adopts a 'can do 'attitude
  • Experience within the catering/food preparation industry
  • Food hygiene and safety for catering qualification certificate is preferred (or willing to undergo training)
  • Car driver preferred to occasionally collect supplies if needed and due to location of head office.
