Administrative Assistant
Working Schedule:8.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday (can be flexible)
Reporting to:
Office Manager

SUMMARY
To provide administrative support to the procurement function and assist with the day-to-day running of the department in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
Whilst it is not necessary to have experience in procurement, we do require someone with a strong background in administration who can hit the ground running.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create credit accounts with new suppliers.
- Adding new supplier details to the company database, updating existing and obtaining supplier insurances
- Accurately enter data and raise purchase orders with suppliers.
- Cross check and process supplier invoices and reconcile against supplier statements.
- Resolve queries and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with general administrative and ad hoc duties as required.
ESSENTIAL:
- Can display a commitment to work toward tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a calm, organised and efficient manner.
- Must be a competent multitasker.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Comprehensive spelling and arithmetic skills
- Clear and professional telephone manner
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.

Experience:
- Office/Administration: 2 years (required)
- Procurement: 1 year (preferred)
