Administrative Assistant

Working Schedule:8.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday (can be flexible)


Reporting to:
Office Manager


Salary:
Dependant on Experience


Location:

SUMMARY


To provide administrative support to the procurement function and assist with the day-to-day running of the department in accordance with the company policies and procedures.

Whilst it is not necessary to have experience in procurement, we do require someone with a strong background in administration who can hit the ground running.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Create credit accounts with new suppliers.
  • Adding new supplier details to the company database, updating existing and obtaining supplier insurances
  • Accurately enter data and raise purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Cross check and process supplier invoices and reconcile against supplier statements.
  • Resolve queries and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist with general administrative and ad hoc duties as required.

ESSENTIAL:


  • Can display a commitment to work toward tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a calm, organised and efficient manner.
  • Must be a competent multitasker.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Comprehensive spelling and arithmetic skills
  • Clear and professional telephone manner
  • Highly motivated and proactive
  • Able to work alone or as part of a team.

Experience:


  • Office/Administration: 2 years (required)
  • Procurement: 1 year (preferred)

£18,032.76-£22,597.55 per year
