Job title:
Deputy GS Security Officer


Location:
RAF Coningsby, Lossiemouth - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements


Salary:
£46,400+ dependant on skills and experience


What you'll be doing:

- working under the GSSO to achieve the outcomes
- supporting exercise initiative and judgement in the interpretation
- establishing a positive security culture and environment, providing security, technical, professional and policy advice
- building and sustaining productive and collaborative relationships
- undertaking a considerable level of stakeholder engagement, and they will manage complex and sensitive issues


Your skills and experiences:


Essential:

  • Ability to work effectively with strong, diverse personalities
  • Demonstrated ability to offer exceptional customer service
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Knowledge of MOD & Industry security, and facility directives
  • Strong commitment to team environment

Qualification:

  • Desirable Knowledge of the JSP 440. (Joint Service Publication)
  • Desirable Knowledge of the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Desirable Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Desirable Knowledge of the HMG IA Standard 5 sanitation procedures
  • Some awareness of a project environment, IT and awareness of lifecycle methodologies
