Job title:
Deputy GS Security Officer

Location:
RAF Coningsby, Lossiemouth - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary:
£46,400+ dependant on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

- working under the GSSO to achieve the outcomes
- supporting exercise initiative and judgement in the interpretation
- establishing a positive security culture and environment, providing security, technical, professional and policy advice
- building and sustaining productive and collaborative relationships
- undertaking a considerable level of stakeholder engagement, and they will manage complex and sensitive issues

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

Ability to work effectively with strong, diverse personalities
Demonstrated ability to offer exceptional customer service
Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Familiarity with Knowledge of MOD & Industry security, and facility directives
Strong commitment to team environment

Qualification:

Desirable Knowledge of the JSP 440. (Joint Service Publication)
Desirable Knowledge of the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Desirable Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Desirable Knowledge of the HMG IA Standard 5 sanitation procedures
Some awareness of a project environment, IT and awareness of lifecycle methodologies
