Description

We are currently looking for an admin focussed Operations Support who has good communication, administration, organisational, customer service and time-management skills for a busy welfare hire company.

You will need great multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to a high level of accuracy.

You will also need an excellent telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with both customers and other employees. This is a 'hands on' position to assist the depot manager in the smooth running of the depot.


Main Duties:

  • Providing operational & administration support to all areas of the business.
  • Execution of the daily transport plan
  • Day to day management of the driving team
  • Administrative responsibility for all transported related compliance activities.
  • Ensuring that customer service levels are achieved and maintained, in conjunction with other departments.
  • Proactive and reactive customer communications.
  • Communicating effectively with other colleagues and providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for depot enquiries.
  • Use of Microsoft Applications & Inhouse systems for a very busy Hire Desk.
  • To ensure that all tasks are carried out to a high standard and completed in a timely manner with good communications across all business areas internally and externally
  • Liaising with yard staff to ensure availability of fleet
  • Deputising for depot manager when required.
  • Good administration experience
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to prioritise work and perform under pressure in a busy environment.
  • High attention to detail and good problemsolving skills
  • Must be IT literate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Experience of plant and/or welfare hire desirable
  • Confident manner
