Contract Type - Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs

Job Description


As a key member of the Pharmacy team, the Lead Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing innovative leadership to the pharmacy technical team.

We are a friendly department providing high quality patient focused care.

Our Pharmacy Technicians provide a range of services including:
dispensing for inpatients, outpatients and discharge; medicines safety; training; procurement; medicines management and final checking.


Skills and experience

  • Applicants must have a BTEC /NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy services or an equivalent recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Extensive relevant hospital experience
  • Experience in leading, managing, motivating and leading by example within a team.
