Main purpose of the role:


As the Digital Marketing Assistant you will sit within our Marketing team and have a primary focus on delivery of 'growth' for the firm through the marketing plans for regions, groups and teams - and the overall promotion of Larking Gowen; firm wide using all digital channels and the full marketing mix.


Main responsibilities:

The main areas of focus will include but are not limited to:


  • SEO
  • Making sure that everything that goes on the website has SEO and review the website continually for new keywords to make sure the website is performing as well as it can.

Website - Editing the website when needed and creating new landing pages for marketing campaigns.

Social media - creation of monthly social media content and uploading using our social media management tool, Sprout

Online advertising - creation and management of PPC campaigns, mainly using Google

AdWords including full support of the team on the administration of events and sponsorships

Contribution to the overall marketing team output - including sharing ideas, workload and actively seeks to assist on projects


Essential Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and interest in social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok) building social media campaigns to support strategic sector growth initiatives.
  • Agency or in house experience within digital marketing
  • Knowledge of database and CRM systems
  • Website maintenance experience (i.e. Umbraco or wordpress)
  • Sound judgement to report problems to senior team members and contribute to resolving them.

Desirable experience:

  • Understands SEO and developing paid search strategies, SEO projects and optimisation for SEO, and pay per click campaigns
  • Confident using InDesign or similar design software for producing basic artwork ready files for print
  • Animation and video creation
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience of working in relevant industries, e.g., professional services or marketing

Education and qualifications:

  • Maths and English Language at GCSE or equivalent

Other:

  • Flexibility to travel as you may be required to travel to our other East Anglia based offices.

Salary:
From £20,000.00 per year
