Bodyshop Reception / Customer Service Advisor
Hours are 8am till 6pm Monday to Friday.

We are currently looking for a Receptionist / Customer Service Advisor to join our busy and friendly team.


Job Purpose


You will be responsible for the day to day running of reception and provide first point of contact for customer service.


The duties will include:

  • To provide first point of contact for customers and potential customers.
  • Engage with all customers and visitors promptly, professionally and courteously, at all times by following company policies and reporting procedures.
  • Book in jobs; ensure that all notifications of work and instructions are acted upon in the most efficient manner and that all are dealt with in line with customer guidelines and contractual requirements.
  • Update all workshop systems.
  • Handle requests for information and data, check the requestor has the relevant authorisation, identification and documentation.
  • Manage courtesy car utilisation, collection and delivery requirements and ensure that all information is inserted onto the company's management system.
  • Liaise with all engineers to ensure that the customer expectations are met.
  • To proactively pursue industry leading standards of quality and customer care by working as part of a team.
  • Ensure all customers are kept updated on the progress of their repair and are recorded on BMS workshop management systems and third party systems.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction while working duties are being carried out.

Skills:


  • Accomplished communicator able to instil confidence and trust, deal with difficult situations calmly and effectively and make full use of the telephone and other methods of communication.
  • Able to communicate and negotiate clearly with other members of staff, customers and visitors.
  • Computer literate, with keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Outlook, combined with the ability to acquire other skills as necessary e.g. databases and spread sheets, training will be given for inhouse software.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility where necessary and to work as part of a team.
  • Work well under pressure, have good organisational and time management skills.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
