What you'll be doing:


  • Be accountable for all related end to end material management activity in line with area of responsibility
  • Actively promote cross functional working in order to augment and achieve key improvements, knowledge transfer and promote best working practices across the business.
  • Communicate effectively with functional and external stakeholder management and deputise for the SC Senior Manager as required
  • Developing supporting strategy within the E2E MM team for delivery of Transformation CI behaviours, ensuring mechanisms are in place at the appropriate level, capturing potential CI benefits and gaining sponsorship from the Business
  • Lead, develop and firmly embed engagement and communication strategies in order to ensure team, customer and stakeholder participation
  • Continuously reviewing, challenging, and driving process improvements
  • Actively seek out and identify risks to and opportunities for improvement

Your skills and experiences:


Essential:

  • Previous experience in Procurement, Material Management, Planning or Logistics
  • Knowledge and experience of working in the endtoend material management arena
  • Ability to present complex information clearly
  • Experience in project management and control
  • Leadership communications & engagement courage problem Solving development of self & others

Desirable:

  • Hold professional qualification e.g., CIPS, ILT, PM (Prince2), Six Sigma
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Packages
  • Experience in ERP / PLM Development (SAP / Teamcenter)

The Integrated Project/Programme Team:


This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team who are responsible for managing the end-to-end material management work stream for the SN AUKUS programme.

You will be responsible for developing business strategies to improve our ways of working, developing solutions to problems and improving material availability throughout the product lifecycle.
