This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to join our existing East London CAMHS Crisis Service and developing Intensive Community Crisis Service.

The post has been made available by the current post-holder being seconded to the Lead Administration role in the service.

The post holder will work closely with the Lead Administrator to provide an efficient and responsive administrative provision.


They will be responsible for:

  • Providing day to day administrative support to the teams
  • Developing effective administrative systems and processes
  • Support the Lead Administrator to effectively monitor the performance of services and working with multidisciplinary to make improvement


The post-holder will need to be able to work under their own initiative to meet the needs of a crisis service.

This post will work across two teams that work across Newham, City and Hackney and Tower Hamlets CAMHS sites.

It is expected that this post would work flexibly across these sites, however will largely be based at one site as decided with the line manager.

There will be opportunities for home working in this role, proposed as a 3 day on site & 2 day working from home split.

The post holder will provide day to day administrative functions for EL Crisis Services, including:

  • Booking appointments and interpreters
  • Participating in and taking minutes and distributing papers for relevant meetings or setting up equipment
  • Maintaining electronic patient records
  • To attend and support with recorded actions from weekly EL CAMHS Crisis huddle as needed
  • To undertake the inputting of outcome and activity data onto the appropriate Information Systems. To ensure that reports are pulled from the system, and outstanding information is highlighted to clinicians, as needed.
  • Maintain patient profiles on POD and providing support to families and clinicians using the system to ensure outcomes and effectively collected in the service
