Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known local business, looking for a Warehouse Operative with a Forklift CB licence to join their team in Sherborne.

What does the role involve?

The main purpose of this role is to assist with receiving, storing, picking, and loading vehicles of stock at the branch.

Working efficiently and managing your time well, you will maintain a clean and safe working environment, and be passionate about beingan asset to the team.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Receiving and unloading deliveries and process delivery notes
  • Manage the storage of stock within warehouses
  • Assisting with loading of vehicles for customer deliveries
  • Performing stock checks
  • Receive and check returned stock
  • Loading of vehicle with responsibility for accuracy of goods loaded and delivered

Working hours and salary:

  • Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30
- £11 per hour

  • Experience of manual handling
  • Experience of IT, for order and stock processing
  • Great teamworking skills
  • Good knowledge of safe working practices
  • An FLT Counter Balance licence (ITSSAR/RTITB approved)
  • Bendi-FLT experience (desirable, but not essential)
