Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
- Procure materials and supplies needed for production
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage supplier relationships
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Collaborate with plant management to forecast demand and plan production schedules
- Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement in the supply chain process
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of plant management principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
