Electronics Assembly Trainee
Autotel Digital Motorsports Communications develop, manufacture and maintain bespoke radio communications systems for use in Motorsport. We are looking for a new member of our technical team to work in the following areas.
Assembly and testing of Race Communications System components, based at our Norfolk office. With potential progresson to repair and maintenance of our existing systems.
Due to the nature of working within Motorsport, some weekend work may be required, time off in lieu would be given to during week days to compensate for this.
A successful applicant would work as part of a small team and be based at our Norfolk workshop, being involved in the assembly and testing of our system components.
We also provide trackside support in the UK and Europe and worldwide, so a successful applicant to progress within the company, they should be comfortable with travel and flexible working hours.
Essential skills must include the following.- Soldering and wiring assembly
- Basic mechanical skills
- Basic IT skills
- A basic knowledge of Radio Communications
- Full clean driving licence is of advantage although not essential
- Good people skills and the ability to work under pressure
A suitable applicant should be capable of working well as a team or on their own initiative, be comfortable with travel and weekend work, and be comfortable to meet tight deadlines.
Wage exceedes NMW for applicants age.Salary:
£22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
