Petrofac is looking to recruit a Pipefitter to join our team at offshore on the GP3 FPSO on 3/3 rotation

JOB TITLE:
PIPEFITTER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out all fabrication and installation activities in relation to specific discipline.
This position reports directly to the General Foreman.

Pipefitter Core Skills (able to fabricate and install).

Fabricate pipes pools from isometric drawing information.
Fabricate pipe supports from structural drawing information.
Install prefabricate pipe spools and supports from general arrangement and isometric drawings.

Hand Skills (able to select and safely use).

Tightening devices, spanner, adjustable wrench, etc.
Cutting tools, hacksaw, files, chisels, tap and die.
Marking out, plate square, level, scribe.
Air and Gas flame cutting equipment.
Air and Gas brazing equipment
Soldering equipment.
Cutting and Grinding equipment fixed and portable (Air and Electric).
Impact wrench (Air & electric).
Drilling and Rotabroach machine fixed and portable (Air and Electric).
Hand held torque wrench.
Pneumatic torque wrench (specific training required).
Pneumatic tensioning equipment (specific training required).
Pneumatic pressure test pump.
Hand operated pressure test pump.
Pressure test manifold.
Pressure test gauges.
Pressure test hoses.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Technical Qualification HNC standard or equivalent.
Recognized trade qualification.
Offshore knowledge and experience.
MJI 10 Hand Torque Bolted Connection Techniques (required).
MJI18Hydraulically Tensioned Bolted Connections (Client Specific)MJI19 Hydraulic Torqued Connection Techniques (required).
TSB T01 Install & Assemble Small Bore Tubing Assemblies (or equivalent) (Where required).
TSB T02 Disassemble & Reinstate Small Bore Tubing System (or equivalent) (Where required).
