Partner Technology Manager


Location:

  • Work on recurring challenges that require a scaled solution.
  • Make decisions within a work stream and manage stakeholder decisions autonomously, with direction from senior peers or manager only when needed.
  • Source and engineer solutions to complex customer challenges.
  • Manage relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skillfully communicate business goals and impact customers goals.
  • Responsibly own launch processes, data compliance, and legal issues.
  • Recognize patterns and plan solutions that can be reused by others.
  • Contribute to team initiatives by acting as an expert resource for product areas (e.g., Retail, Infrastructure, or. OEMs, ODMs, 3PL).

Adaptive expertise

Opportunity identification (Technical Solutions)
Responsible for active participation in industry and account business planning. Meet with clients or partners to understand their objectives and challenges. Identify technical gaps, recognize patterns, and surface opportunities for solution reuse or newinnovations to help. Secure alignment with clients or partners and sales on the need and the commitment to move forward.


Relationship management (Technical Solutions)


Responsible for earning trust by actively listening and then demonstrating an understanding of the partner or client's core needs in their language.

Help partners or clients understand what they can achieve with technology and how we can help.

Partner withstakeholders in sales, business development, or product to understand industry dynamics and identify partners or clients in need of advanced solutions to unlock revenue, business growth and efficiency.

Core Tech role related knowledge


Knowledge of one or more core tech area including Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Systems Design, Networking, Large Dataset Processing, Video/Mobile, data analysis, Cloud, Containers, Telecoms, Video, Hardware/Low Level, AndroidOS, Chrome OS, Mobile, Auto, Wearables, or other specialities to be determined by hiring manager.


Opportunity identification


Ability to identify opportunities and/or deal with potential and/or existing customers/partners, including the ability to propose strategies or solutions, and the skills of recognizing business needs, communicating, collaborating, and nurturing opportunitieswith others.


Software development lifecycle (Technical Solutions)
Knowledge of the overall process for developing solutions. This includes knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of engineering and other functions, major phases, checkpoints, and deliverables. This also includes the ability to identify common issuesand considerations for delivering a solution.


Software engineering
Ability to write readable, well structured code with at least one programming language. Follows engineering best practices including code review and reuse, documentation, automated testing, and utilising common code patterns. Ability to identify, triage,and repair technical issues in team code.


Solution design
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and overall process for developing solutions. Knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of engineering and other functions, major phases, checkpoints, and deliverables. Ability to identify common issues andconsiderations for delivering a solution and scoping out the solution work needed.


Stakeholder management (Technical Solutions)


Ability to interact clearly, partner with, and influence clients and non-technical sales partners by taking a consultative and data-driven approach.

This includes the ability to effectively address difficult questions, handle pushback from a high-level audience,and customise communications to an audience while engaging in difficult or sometimes high-pressure situations.
