Job description
As a Flexographic Printer, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality printed materials using flexographic printing equipment.

The role will be for 4 days a week, 12 hour shifts with two breaks and a 45 minute lunch.

Days worked are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to job specifications and quality standards.
  • Load and align printing plates, inks, and materials onto the press.
  • Monitor and adjust the printing process to ensure consistent print quality and colour accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the printing process.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with prepress tasks, such as graphic design, plate preparation, and color matching.
  • Collaborate with team members, including graphic designers and production staff, to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of printed materials.
  • Inspect printed products for defects and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Printer
  • Familiarity with colour theory, ink mixing, and colour management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Indepth knowledge of flexographic printing techniques, materials, and equipment. Familiarity with colour theory, ink mixing, and colour management.
  • Certification or formal training in flexographic printing.
  • Experience with different types of flexographic presses and printing substrates.

Salary:
£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
