Description

The Faculty of Theology and Religion is seeking to appoint a Project Support Coordinator to support the New Horizons for Science and Religion in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Humanities and Healthcare projects.


About the role


The Humanities and Healthcare project aims to undertake and promote interdisciplinary and inter-institutional work to improve the quality and ethos of healthcare through research and policy development.

This project is anticipated to end in July 2023.

New Horizons for Science and Religion (CEE) is a 5-year project ending in October 2024.

The project aims to stimulate world-class research and outreach in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), and enhance engagement with Big Questions in science and religion within CEE and in dialogue with researchers worldwide.


As the Project Coordinator, you will support the PIs of each project with all aspects of project administration, including financial processes and reporting, event organisation, and travel arrangements.

You will also support communications activity, including internal communications to staff, and external communications through the development and maintenance of the project websites.

This is a part-time variable hours post, fixed-term until 31st October 2024.

The role will be based in Oxford, at the Faculty of Theology and Religion. Remote working is negotiable, but you must be able to work on-site on a regular basis.


About you


Alongside excellent general administrative skills, including event organisation, you will have experience of monitoring and presenting budgets, and of financial processes.

The ability to work independently and prioritise a busy and varied workload will be essential, as will excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
