We are recruiting Velocity road repair machine operators to work all over the UK. The Velocity patching process is an environmentally friendly, efficient and speedy method of repairing road defects. The machine itself is a self-contained unit carrying bitumen emulsion and aggregate.

The operator works at the back of the machine controlling the flow of aggregate and emulsion and using skill and judgement to deliver high quality and long lasting road repairs.

The technique enables you to lay a new road repair mix without having to excavate the existing road surface. The new material applied is instantly compacted layer by layer from the bottom up, not the top down. The result is a very strong and long lasting repair due to the superior compaction that is achieved.

The machine is built on to a standard 18 Tonne truck chassis and all of the Velocity fleet have automatic transmission.

No experience as an operator is required as full training is given.

Our Operator needs:

To work away from home 4 weeks at a time both in the UK and Abroad (can sometimes be longer depending on the particular contract).

To be presentable at all times with good customer service skills, as you will be responsible for representing our Company to customers.

To be a self-motivated individual who is happy to work alone and as part of a team. An HGV 2 licence would be an advantage.

Our Operator/Driver will receive from us: An excellent pay structure. Full training for all the machinery and techniques needed to carry out road repairs. You will accrue 25 days holiday each year, along with the 8 existing bank holidays. A tax free daily meal allowance when you are away from home (in accordance with company procedures). You will also be provided with all P.P.E and Company branded clothing. All accommodation will be pre-paid & pre-booked. All staff receive a company mobile phone, Tom Tom and Camera for work use
