Voids & Lettings Admin

£14 per hour

On-going temporary

Hybrid

Location - Colindale/Edgware

Main Responsibilities

  • To provide a comprehensive and customerfocused services to our customers and landlords.
  • To contribute to service area objectives in providing and letting good standard of accommodation to tenants and landlords
  • To work in partnership with the company's contractors to ensure that repairs to the void properties meet the company's lettings standard.
  • To raise orders using the company's internal IT services in line with financial regulations.
  • To liaise and monitor progress of all repairs to the company's void properties through its DLO and partnering contractors.
  • To ensure that properties available to the company, are let efficiently and in accordance with the Council's allocations scheme.
  • Capture and maintain accurate case notes and accurate information on databases.
  • To contribute to the validation and quality check of data inputted in our IT systems and support the management team in the reporting of voids data.
  • To detect and report any incidents of suspected fraud to the relevant senior officer and to liaise with other departments such as the councils Corporate Anti-Fraud Team (CAFT), Housing Benefit, Internal Audit and Legal
  • To report incidents of suspected abuse or neglect of children or vulnerable adults to the councils Social Services
  • To follow safeguarding procedures and policies to ensure vulnerable children and adults with housing difficulties receive the right services at the right time.

Person Specification

  • Access to a means of transportation to enable efficient inspection of properties within and outside the borough.
  • Advanced Skills in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Analytical and innovative thinking
  • Strong numeracy and research skills
