247 Community Support are looking for the right individuals to support adults with learning disabilites in supported living settings.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Support individuals in participating in recreational and social activities
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor

Skills:


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Empathy and compassion for individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Experience:


  • Support worker: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • DBS (preferred)
