Civil Engineering Crew ltd is a recruitment agency, specialised in the Civil Engineering and Construction sectors.To complement and strengthen our client's team, we are looking for Welders to join the High Speed 2 project (HS2) based in the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
As a Welder you will:
- Ensure relevant task briefings have been carried out prior to tasks undertaken;
- Report all near misses, hazards or observations via the hotline and to the Supervisor;
- Notify the Chargehand of any matters that affect the progress of works (including breakdowns & damages, etc.);
- Good understanding and knowledge of different processes and equipment;
- Be prepared to work overtime/flexible on breaks as required;
- Be capable to take on Chargehand responsibilities and duties on a temporary basis as and when required.
Job Requirements
We are looking for you to have as a minimum:
- CSCS card
- Welding certificate
- Experience of Welding of QC1 Stainless steel and mild steel Ductwork
- Welding operations qualified to BS EN ISO 96061:201
- Experience : 2 years (required)
- Driving licence (required)

Physical Working Environment:
Operatives are required to work outside on a construction site in any weather conditions that are deemed safe.
